Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia contributes $25,000 to Troup County Board of Tax Assessors

(West Point, GA.) July 10, 2015 – Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) has provided $25,000 to the Troup County Board of Tax Assessors as part of the plant’s $400,000 overall commitment to the board. The funds will be used for additional manpower at the board’s discretion.
“We are happy to be able to provide this funding and hope that the increased manpower will be a big benefit to the Board of Tax Assessors,” said Randy Jackson, KMMG’s senior vice president of human resources and administration.”
Wayne Bartley, chairman of the Troup County Board of Tax Assessors, thanked KMMG for the plant’s ongoing commitment to the board.
“These additional funds will help make sure that the citizens of Troup County can continue to have confidence in property valuations,” he said.
